I love the screen of shame over the control booth. Its setup is a bit more obvious than Leviathan's. How many seconds appear on the count down clock?

So I'm curious if there is any difference in the energy level around Valravn's media day compared to Gatekeepers's and Rougarou's media day since its a media only event and not open to some enthusiasts? Ive been watching our local news (ABC 13 Toledo) and they have only shown trains filled with water dummies running.

That new seating area near Chickie's & Pete's looks great.

The "screen of shame" looks similar to Fury's.

Whats the "screen of shame"? I see it...but what all does it show?

When you visit CP, visit my Mill, est. 1835

I didn't realize people called it that, but the dots represent seats and change from red (or something) to green as the restraints are lowered. If it doesn't get down enough, it won't change to green.

Here's Fury's:

Is the castle wall off limits still?

Wow that is a tall spiral staircase.

I don't think that I like the location of the junior 3-point challenge. It looks like it covers up what I always thought was a neat visual of the trains sweeping by.

Valravn is looking amazing. I love how the new plaza opened up Raptor's cobra roll. Can't wait to go back to CP.

Pretty cool that they had the media broadcasting live during the ride. PR is nailing this.

Nice to see the tech that was tested at Kings Island finally being rolled out at Cedar Point. I wondered about the interactive park maps, since they have been at Kings Island for a couple years now. I wasn't sure they were as successful as Cedar Fair had hoped. I thought they were pretty neat to mess with at Kings Island.

I'm also glad to hear the wifi is working great, although I'm not sure how much load is really being tested today.

Is the new water tower replacing the old one? Was the old one still in use?

I love the lighting package!!!

The water tower is needed because of the Aqua Trax in 2017.

Kind of confusing... they just painted the pirate ride building? There's no real use? I kind of like the original stone work in the tower more so than the white paneling they covered it up with. I do like the idea of a seating area though. Everything else looks amazing.

Well, I'd say that Cedar Point has a massive hit on its hands with this ride. I am absolutely impressed.

Well they had to do something with the Pirate Ride area simply based on the new foot-traffic going through there.

Also a fan of the stone work from the Pirate days, but perhaps it just didn't look quite right with a mix of that and paneling, so they just covered it all up. For now.

Impressive.

Most impressive.

Promoter of fog.

So I guess it's time to start the 2017 Speculation Thread??

Just kidding....please don't start it

Yep. The new regime has made it clear they're willing to spend money to beautify areas of the park, even if those areas will be going away before long (see also: Cedars).
