The 'Caribbean themed' show at the Red Garter includes two female vocalist and one male (Welcome back, AJ!), along with a keyboardist, a drummer, and a lead guitar who doubles as the fourth vocalist. For all you guys whining about no live band, now is your chance to come out and support live music by watching the show and buying food and drinks at the Garter! And don't forget to tip your waitress / waiter (Hi, Kevin!).
Saw the show a couple of times Sat., I thought it was a great show. Fun summertime music, hot women, a nice set and best of all, Great Lakes beer. I thought it was one of the best shows in years at the Garter, liked it better than the Rock shows they used to have. But, that's just me and my music preference.
It really is a fun show, puts you in a good mood and makes you feel like you're on vacation. Both shows I saw Saturday seemed to have really good audience approval also. Well worth a visit.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
The show is definitely a step in the right direction. After last year we're pretty optimistic for shows at the park this year. It's good to see that Live E has been able to regroup a bit and make the shows happen within the constraints they are given. If you're only going to have six people in the cast you at least have three of them to make up a live band. It adds a lot to the energy of the show. Having a familiar set list also helps.
Now we'll just have to see what happens for HalloWeekends at the Garter...
Pete, did they have more than just Dortmunder? It's not a deal breaker. But, if there were multiple choices, I might be in there for every trip to the park. :-)

Now, I'm excited for Saturday, so I can go to the park and hopefully watch this show.

The girl dancers had chubby Muffin tops pouring out of their very tight mexican dresses on their stomachs, by the way.....:)
AJ was sweating like crazy.
I don't think I could wear those tight hot outfits at the end dance, even though I don't have a chubby belly, but I am very thin already.:)
Yeah nothing says Frontier Trail quite like Caribbean Themed Music in the Saloon right across from the Panda Express and the techno pumping Millenium Force!

Nope, just Dortmunder Gold.

Picky, picky. I thought they were hot, and I only had one Dortmunder to make them look better. :)

Thank God. I hope they have the live band during Halloweekends as well.

I second that Jeff.
Saw the show once on Saturday and enjoyed it. I'm very happy to see the live band make a return. Not sure how I feel about the Caribbean theme in the Garter, but I'm willing to overlook that in favor of the live band.
