Okay, so, once again I'm planning a trip to CP this week with my nieces and nephew. Their ages are 12, 7, and 5. The 12 and 7 year old are old enought and tall enough to ride most of the rides, the problem we have is that the 5 year old is about 3 inches short. I'm not comfortable (obviously) leaving the 5 and 12 year old alone to go with the 7 year old on the roller coasters. I called guest services at CP and they said (since there's not other adults to use Parent Swap). We could all wait in line together and then who ever is staying with the littlest (either the 12 year old or myself can pass through and wait at the exit). Has anybody here tried this? I'm wondering if they'd even let us in line, even if I said he wasn't planning to ride. As if they've never heard that one before....
um. sweet.
Total Maverick rides for the 2007 season = 27
Top 5--- 1. Maverick- 2. Millennium 3. Magnum 4. TTD 5. Gemini
Cavs- 2007 Eastern Conference Champions!.-
We were finally able to use parent swap this year, we had twins in march, one boy one girl. My wife was in the room with them, then later on in the evening she walked right by 2 hour lines to ride Maverick, MF, Raptor etc.

it will be a long time before my fiances kids are tall/old enough to ride big rides. One is 5, the other is 3. Havent brought them to CP yet, but I'm sure we will wait until they are both at a certain height.
I also have a fear that if they are just the right height, they still might slip out (i'm just paranoid). Years ago when my younger brother would ride with me, I always held onto him because he was such a toothpick I was scared. At least that was most of my moms thought so I developed a paranoya about it. I know they are safe but sometimes they are so skinny you just wonder.

^ Yeah, the 7 year old is safe, she's about 50.5 inches and not real skinny, she's by no means fat or even overweight, but I've seen plenty of kids her size on the coasters. As for the 5 year old, he's only about 45 inches. I would rather wait to take him so we can all ride stuff together, but it's one of those tricky family things that we have to keep it fair between the two and the older one's been begging to go since Christmas....
^Actually, my idea was this. To save money on the tickets, they wear a long coat and one sits on the other's shoulders, therefore making them taller and getting in as one person. But something tells me CP would catch on... ;)
Besides, safety is still my concern. Though taking the kids on their first roller coasters is sure to be fun!
