Here is a video of what happens to the ride if it hits the bumpers.

This was taken durring the testing of the ride.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
What? Is that not how it works?

the twist would just shake alot, then we would get major whiplashes and have bad backs for weeks...............
Those buffers have a very long travel to them, I doubt any serious injuries would occur if the train overshot and hit the buffers.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
I know for one thing that if any of those motors mis-fires the ride shuts down!
I was on it the first year and the one motor mis-fired and we E-stopped right there before we went up they had to hook the cable up and release us down manually!!! so.....if the train was to hit the top i would think that it would shut down automatically and i think those spike stoppers have sensors on them or before them!
Being a Ride Warrior is just not a job!
It's a way of life!!!
I have ridden the all the coasters at K.I. and C.P. that i have lost count!!!!! and it is not the amount of times i have ridden, it is just the joy of riding them for me!!!!
Its funny because if I remember correctly a schwartzkopf designed ride actually did "ring the bell" and hit the bumper at the end. I think the part stopping the weight from falling to the bottom of the container and it caused the train to accelerate to the point where it hit the bumper and broke most of the train.
Disaster Transport 2012
Mark me down as one that would love to see it hit the end of the track, but it would have to take someone with knowledge of adjusting the settings of the ride to get the motors to do that in the first place. I'm sure if there is an error when the motors start firing, the brakes fall into place.

^I would love to see it also. I also would like to see someone break the barrier for the emergency brakes on the ride. It would be very cool to see both of those features in action.
