Lighting - Official word?

Has anyone (Jeff, Dan) heard the official word on the lighting effects at night? I know this was discussed in great detail before, but it has been mostly random thoughts and speculation. Most of the discussion has been focusing on illuminating the first hill, but I'm wondering if any lighting will be given on the island section.

I thought now that opening day is around the corner, the word might be out.

At the COSI presentation, someone asked that and they said that you would be able to ride at night, but there would be little lighting.

From my understanding they are going all out on lighting. They wanted to do something a little different every night. One night have running lights and the next night just have flood lights. The person who was explaining it to me wasn't 100% sure on what it was going to be but they promised it is going to be very extravagent.

Personally I would like to see strip lighting on the trains(Drachen Fire), it does create a really cool effect. I would rather see the structure dimly lit, maybe blue lights, instead of many bright flood lights. The darker the better.

Dan when you say different lighting everynight... Do you mean they are gonna go for something new or run an everyother day cycle?

I just hope they keep the lagoon dark

Welcome back Millennium Force riders...We all want to know how was your RIDE!!!!!
I think that it makes sense to keep it dark. To try and salvage some of the tranquillity of Frontier Trail and the lagoons at night. Have you ever taken an evening cruise on the lagoons? It would be ruined by a bunch of lights.

If there will be no light on the lagoon, you will just get interupted by the screams of people on MF as they wiz by every 3 min. or so...

I like the idea of having different lighting on different nights. If they cycle it through the week like that then one night maybe they will turn off the lights... If you get my drift. That way it will take a long time to get used to the ride as well, becouse you will have to get use to eight different ways of lighting. (Daylight too.)
