Lighting

Do you think WT should have some type of lights on the spikes? I think some lights that are chasing up the forward and down the back spikes in the track would be awsome!;)

I'd half to agree! I think it would be cool, if done right. If it's done cheesy then that would be a disaster, but CP usually does good lighting jobs.

If any of you know a way that I could e-mail CP about the idea, please post the adress and the person who I would be sending it to. :)THANKS:)

I suggest you learn to spell "know" before you start e-mailing CP about an idea that really doesn't make much difference to them. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I've wondered about this for a while - they have much more important things to be spending money on right now than chasing lights on Twister or some sort of nice lighting package on Dragster.

Hey, it's worth a try though, isn't it?

sorry about the spelling error.

It seems like plain boring white lights are the answere for everything lately. Power Tower used to be cool with all of the changing color, but what happened. It's just white. TTD is cool with it's countdown lights but other that then that, it's also just white. I would also like to see some sort of change to WT. Why can't a cool ride have cool lights?
Power Tower's lights do change colors. They switch about every 15 seconds (just a guess).

Raptorman, are you trying to say Millennium Force isn't cool?

Eddy the retard is awesome.

No, Of course not, Millennium Force is the best. I've never riden anything like it before. I'm not trying to put CP down, becuase I'm not. I love the Point, there isn't any other place like it on earth. I'm saying some more effort into the lighting design would be cool. When ever I see the park all lite up at night i think it's cool. Whites just not the true color of Cedar Point.
Sure it's easy to change light colored stuctures like PT and MF's supports, but I think it'd be kind of difficult to have different colored lights on TTD's big yellow structure without making it look like crap. Besides, I think it'd awesome that you can see TTD in the middle of the night all lit up from rt. 2.

I agree, and the lights that beam up into the sky are impressive as well.

First of all Impulse-Ive, if you re-read the post by cp&le rr guy, you will see he did spell the word "know" correctly. Second of all, what is CP going to spend all of their money on that they couldn't spend some on lights? I think it's a great idea. And, how do you know that CP wouldn't be interested in his idea? Do you work for them in a position that would be able to determine this?
DragsterRaptor: I wouldn't recommend trying to be a smart guy after only being signed up for several days...you'll probably get reamed. And cp&le did spell "know" wrong, hence the "*** This post was edited by cp&le rr guy 10/4/2003 3:03:06 PM *** " at the bottom of his post, and the apology where he admitted he spelled it wrong.

Back on topic, if you change the colors of these non white/grey stuctures, you're going to sacrifice a lot of brightness in the lights to do it, and then you'll probably be complaining about that.
