I know they have coffee makers, but do they furnish coffee in packs? and also, are there hairdryers in the bathroom? Thanks!

And another question...are you allowed backpacks in the park?

You are allowed to have backpacks. It might be checked before you walk in, so make sure if your sneaking in food or drinks to hide it well. :)

You can't take it on Millennium or Dragster, you'll have to buy a locker. The rest of the rides have bins.

It's been a few years since I've stayed at LHP, but I'm sure there are hairdryers (typical hotel wall mounted ones) and the coffee makers are the same. I think if you go to the office you can get more coffee packets.

@Jugga, I stay there every year, my latest trip was 4 nights in June; although they do provide coffee packets and filters, the coffee is not very good. I would suggest taking along a small can of you own coffee, as well as cream and sugar, and perhaps your own coffee mug. They also provide a microwave and fridge, but keep in mind, they provide NO SILVERWARE at all, and NO DISHES. If you have any other questions, let me know. Oh, and be prepared to wait about 15 minutes in between showers, the hot water tanks are not very large and take a bit of time to recover. There are hair dryers, but the bathrooms are very tiny.

Thank you all for the replies. I just got off the phone with reservations. I thought from the description of the cabins that there was a bed in the loft (bedding not provided, I think of sheets, blankets and pillows.) I was wrong. No bed. Now its off to walmart to buy an inflatable mattress. Boy, this trip is starting to get expensive, lol. Got the plastic ware, cups and plates packed. Im sure glad that I called and didnt show up Friday with two people not having a bed to sleep on. Dang it!
