Hi all,
Just a quick question about your opinions. At Lighthouse Point, are there any major differences between a standard cabin versus a cottage?
We've never stayed on Point at this property. All opinions welcome.
If only Mr. Scott were here...
Thanks!

Promoter of fog.
My family stayed in a deluxe cabin(non lake view) July 2014 season. It was very nicely appointed! There were struggles I noticed in this particular cabin. Getting into(up steps) 'over-head loft' was hard for taller/wider guests.

We're huge fans of the cottages as well, especially for the view. It is really nifty to have the lake and bay as your "front yard" for a few days. It is something that few amusement parks can offer.

Thanks all for your replies so far. I'm leaning towards cottage at this point; I also want that lake view for a few days and nights, and the price for standard cabin and cottage is identical which is why I asked about those two in particular.

Well, just an update;
We have two little girls (8 and 4), and before deciding on the cottage we noticed that it looked like there was no bath, but only a stand-up shower. That's great for everyone except the 4-year old, so I'm glad we noticed that. The cabins do have baths, and then I noticed that a multi-room suite at Hotel Breakers was actually cheaper (by about $100) for the length of our stay (3 nights)...so in the end we chose Breakers, and I can't wait to see the improvements from the inside out.
I have not stayed in Breakers since (drumroll) 1989!

Completely understandable. You should be mighty impressed by the new Breakers. They did a truly great job.
