Light House

Hello I was just wondering we think we found our place to stay...we think we're going to stay at the light house. Question is...is it as nice as it look on the website and if I were to choose between the Cabin and the Cottage what should I choose? Thanks for all the answers!
Go to www.cedarpoint.com and do some research about the cabins & cottages. Find out what the differences are and then choose the one that fits your needs best. Only you can decide which one is best for you.

It really depends on how many people are going with you and who they are. I personally like the cottages better, mainly because they are right on the lake and you get a great view. The cottages have a futon in the living room area, and the bedroom has a full bed and a bunk bed.

If you are going with kids though, you might prefer a cabin. The cabins have 2 futons in the living area, and the bedroom has a full bed only which offers privacy if you want it. Also, there is loft above the living area where kids can sleep with a couple of sleeping bags.

Overall, both are very nice. If its just you and a lady friend, definately go for the cottage. If you have kids, you may want to consider a cabin because they will offer adults more privacy.

another question I just called and if you have over 7 people you need to get to cabins/cottages? That's bull**** lol that's just one more person. Do you think they offer 7 people for a little higher price because I believe that getting a whole another cabin/cottage just because you have one more person is outragious.
GreatEscape heres an idea...Say there is 6 and when you check in only have one or two people go. They will never really know there are 7 of ya. My family has done this at many places such as Cedar Point and Disney, simply because the idea is ridiculous and they never truly know.

Another idea would be to check out the suites at Hotel Brakers. Their closer to the park entrances, and you still get the lake.
We have a cabin for Saturday night. I really like the privacy and comfort of them. If you want to bring 7 people, which you could fit, I recommend bringing an air mattress or someone will be sleeping on the floor.

The cabins are very nice. The cottages are sold out for Saturday the last time I checked, but people cancel I'm sure.
