Leaving for GL today

My brother and I are going to Geauga Lake over the weekend. We will leave this afternoon and will return on Sunday. I was wondering who has been to the waterpark. I've heard it's lots of fun. And I have heard that there are some good food places on that side of the park. What food places would you recommend?

The food at the park is one thing I've been very disappointed with. As much as I go to Cedar Point, eating at an indoor resaurant has grown on me (whether is be Midway Market, Game Day Grille, Macaroni's, Breakwater Cafe, etc..). I've been very disappointed that there is only one true sit down restaurant at the park, and for that matter, it's in the middle of a dump. Beachcombers offers a fair selection of food, although it's not that much different than the midway food venues, for the most part. But, atleast in my experience this year, expect to wait a long time, as it tends to be more popular (as the only sitdown restaurant) and they're greatly under-staffed.

That being said, I think they definitely could justify adding a new sitdown location or two. One thing I thought would be cool, would be to take the old aquarium, and update it add some merely tropical gold fish of sorts (based on the fact that they can take care of koi, and don't want to take care of animals), and create somewhat of a aquarium restaurant, similar to what's found at Epcot. Sure it wouldn't have sharks and what not, but atleast it would be something a little different.

I will be there on Sunday myself, but just for the rides, not the water... I have been to the water side already and I think it is excellent.

Yeah, the waterpark is very nice... very crowded on Saturdays, but very nice.
