Learn to ride Mean Streak! (Long)

Imagine if Mean Steak was Texas Giant which is very similar we would have had the bomb wood coaster. Mean Streak was so close but now well what can I say. I'm not ripping it but it isn't what it should be for a premier wooden coaster.

So close but so far away.

I like MS but the squeak is what to me most find annoying!!!!!! But I don't usually mind since I'm glad just to be at such a great park!!!

Ok, last year, when me and my friend Scott went to CP (one of many times I went). MS was the first ride we hit. We sat 2nd car, hands up whole ride, and seatbelt and lapbar pretty secure, and we did not get beat up at all, in fact it was the best ride I've ever had on MS. I never hold on on any coaster, cept Raptor and sometimes Corkscrew. I have ridden alot of coasters holding on the whole ride, and it was more fun to ride with hands up. Scott also agreed, but thats just us weird punk rock band members.

I goto SFGam alot Chitown. I have never had any trouble on the Eagle. I have heard alot of griping about Mean Streak. I too will ride it for the first time. And I'll take your advice Dave. I'm glad to hear the other side of the chain, of people who like Mean Streak. I don't feel so bad about wanting to ride it now. ;D

Hey nice method CPDave, but to all the people that complain it is too rough and it should be demolished: Put up with it... so what if it is rough! If its so bad then only ride it once when you go there. There's no need to be hatin' on MS! The ride is awesome it's big and ya it does have its problems but o well. I will bet that a lot of you "complainers" thought is was awesome when it opened. Ya it was a record breaker so treat it like a record breaker. Don't get all mad at me now I am stating what I believe people should do.

Mean Streak owns my favorite spot of the park and I have said this befor. I love looking over the park from the back and looking over the lake. I know most people like MS better at night but I prefer it during the day. And I think the squeeks(sp?) its makes just add to the experiance. And in line it is very cool not being able to see anything but the giant wood monster. I could spend an entire day just at the top of the lift. It is very peaceful. In conclusion, if CP decides to remove Mean Streak please put another wood twister there!

Well the first time I went to CP, MS was one of the first rides we rode, My friend hated it but I loved it, there is nothing like a good wood and I think that MS is an example of a good one. I have some advice for those that dont like it, dont ride it, no one forces you to get on. They call it Mean Streak for a reason, its mean but thats what makes it fun.
