I knew that, John. Hence the winky. ;)

Ride on, MrScott!
^I imagine that people only start doing that in the last moments of the ride's operation after the line has already been closed off. I don't think rerides would be possible by the point that people start to become "charitable" by letting people ahead of them in the queue.
On another note, what is the deal with getting the last ride? Is it extra fast or something? If not, it's just another normal ride. Get over it, people. May as well enjoy the ride and not sulk about such stupid things as not getting the last ride of the season.
^^ - generally a line will form at the gate waiting for the call to come down to Entrance saying to close the line. At that point, the people vying for the last ride will then enter just before the line is closed. I've done this before for last ride of the night, but its usually on a dead night where I've been marathoning for the last hour and could use a good break before that last one.
Goodbye MrScott

The last few years it has gotton WAY out of hand, like I stated in my earlier post it is just getting awful. And last year at TTD, we were amazed at all the DRAMA at TTD. The CP Police were just standing in the station and not doing a darn thing about the guests not wanting to load the trains. The ride hosts kept telling the guests they were not going to send out half empty trains and guests would not get in the trains. The police just stood there with their arms crossed. I don't understand, last time I knew, "failure to comply with ride hosts could be a misdemeaner." (sorry if that is spelled wrong). I think all those people who didn't want to load should have been kicked off the platform and not allowed to ride. But maybe no one cared because it was the last day.

This guy Tony sounds really cool. Wish I could meet him! ;)
I usually like to be on the last Raptor train of the season (which was totally impossible last year! :() but certainly not enough to fight over it. There were a couple years I was asked to ride the 2nd to last or 3rd to last-no biggie. I did. I have seen fully grown people (and I CAN name names) have absolute hissies (hissys?) over being asked to ride before they felt they deserved or wanted to.
Being on one of the last Raptor trains is just one of those goofy tradition things I like to do. Simular to walking into one of the gift shops saying "I'm just gonna look" and walking out with 100.00 worth of stuff-ask my hubby! ;)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?
