Just looked and there are still seats available on all four coasters. Either not many want to shell out the 15 bucks, not that many are aware of the event, or they are selling seats for more than one train.

They did this last year for the first time. Tickets were free but it was mentioned it would be for charity this year.
You have to be at the ride entrance at 8pm. Seats are assigned by the order people signed up. They also gave everybody an on-ride photo last year.
Mine was on Maverick last year and the ride op told us this all started because fights almost broke out as people jostled for the last train.
