What kind of music do you think will be on this years laser light show? I'm thinking: Bye Bye Bye, some Britney Spears song, something from christina aguleria (sp), Will Smith's 2000 song, Dixie Chicks, and of course I'm proud to an American

Will May 6th ever arrive?????
I hope thats not the music I hear. I tired of this mainstream boy band crap thats out now a days. I think they should play some House, Trance and Techno with the laser light show. That would be much better than those "I don't even write my own music" bands.

Anything other than "bubble-gum pop" and I'll be just fine!

"Your obssesed w/ that place aren't you?" (as stated by my best-friends about CP)
Play Paul Oakenfold's "Two Years of Oakenfold at Cream" or "Tranceport". They used "Tranceport" for Cleveland's 2000 New Years and it was VERY fitting (and surprising). But I think Cedar Point is more gearing towards the middle-American bred family. It might be a bit too left-field for most :)
What times the laser light show?
It doesn't matter to me what they play. I've seen it once, that's enough for me.
Anyway, I think it plays at 10:00 through the summer months.
laser show hum raptor, mantis maybe MF lines shorter. I will be riding.

Dan, I think, but I am not sure that the 10pm laser show starts at 10pm. Just a guess.
Will we get wet at the 10pm laser show?

Thats not rain! Thats the sprinklers!
Does the 10pm laser show have any big drops? Those make me sick.
They can't play boy band and teeny bopper crap. They have to play songs like Offspring, RHCP, Met, Blink 182, songs like that.

Homer Simpson: Will you stop your spontaneous cussing?
Bart Simpson: Hell yeah.
Anything you see will follow the same rules as for the DJs at the Point. It has to be on the charts but more importantly suitable for a wide variety of crowds, specifically families. My guess would be Crazy, by our girl Brittney and something by Back Street Boys, and hecks---As I've said, I have no problem with either of them, especially Brittney. With the help of electronics, her voice is good but her songs are great. She looks pretty good, too. :)

Brit is no Christina Aguwhatevah! At least Christina doesn't make me feel like a child molester or something.
Anyway, I'm sure we'll get the usual blend of safe, homogenized music.

Don't worry Jeff, I won't say anything. ;) You'd think that her being from Wexford and I from Pittsburgh, I WOULD be a real big hometown fan of hers. Now granted Christina DOES have a better voice, it's just the fact that I can enjoy every song on Brittney's album, while I can't say the same for Christina.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled topic....

Hey the only reason I like Christina AGUILERA better than Britney is because I'm from Pittsburgh...that's gotta say something hehe.
Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing if they put some good Backstreet songs in it. Not that I like them or anything. No, right....

I wonder how Metallica with the Symphony would sound during the laser light show? I would hope they play music with some sort of an edge to it. Something that evokes true emotions along with the lights. Not any dance pop garbage. As far as I'm concerned Britney and Christina are at their absolute best when their on TV and the volume is on Mute. Although to be realistic we're probably not going to here Metallica at CP anytime soon either. They only play what is safe, which I can't blame them for.
How about some of Joe Satriani's blazing guitar instrumentals during the light show? That guy Rocks! And so should a light show!
