One of my favorite parts about Halloweekends is the "Land of Lost Thrills" or Ride Graveyard. I was checking it out on Sept 28, and noticed that not all of the rides were there this year.
No White Water Landing this year, or wasn't it set up yet?
I'll be Coasting for Kids on June 9th

Never noticed that it is not there, but I like the whole Frontier Lift cars in the graveyard
quote from Mean Streak operator, "Welcome to Mean Streak. It's so mean it'll rip the heads off your Barbie dolls and steal your lunch money!!!"
Makes no sense to add Geauga Lake, the display is only about Cedar Point.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
They probably sold everything they could, and scrapped the rest. I don't think they have anything left. Pete is right, it is a Cedar Point display.

You know what, yeah the display is currently about Cedar Point but why can't it be all of Cedar Fair? With the corporate headquarters right there it actually makes a bit of sense. And it would be a nice way for corporate advertising to be snuck into the park a bit more.

The other parks have their own. That, and no one would know what the hell "Flume 1978-2008" means.

Because the vast majority of Cedar Point visitors don't know anything about other amusement parks. I don't think it would have any appeal outside of a small group of enthusiasts.
That's what I mean, the general public does not know much about the other parks, this is a good chance to get the word out about them. Even more so it would be a nice inside joke for the small group of enthusiasts that would under stand.
And I am not talking about generic rides, but some of the more famous rides in the company.

As far as I can remember, there wasn't a White Water Landing grave last year.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

With the exception of Gueaga Lake, the other Cedar Fair parks may have thier own graveyard.
King's Island doesn't, at least not that I've been able to find. I wish it did though, that was one of my favorite parts of Halloweekends too!
I know that I thought it was neat how they have the stones for the retired rides! Geauga Lake would have made a great grave yard this year! It is a mess! It is in sad shape! There is not much left!
Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs
^Thats what happens when a park closes. . .
Yesterday when I was there I couldn't believe the rides that I thought were way before my time but were actually taken out after I was born.
I have a question though: why was Jumbo Jet so short lived? I think it was only around 7 years before it was removed.
Let's Get Weird.
Aside from moving a couple of inches every year, apparently it wasn't easy to take care of.

^Its in Rivertown, right before the bridge to Coney Maul and La Rosa's Pizza.
Yep, you're right. I finally found it this weekend. It's spread out all over Rivertown. I never found all the rides, but I did find King Cobra (my favorite defunct ride) by the Train Station, Skylab by LaRosa's and The Bat by the Beast, among others.
