Land Clearing and Bulldozers!

Let it be known that I saw something first for once... :) I saw something VERY cool yesterday while riding the train from Mean Streak to Millennium Force. When you go past Mantis and Snake River Falls, there is a land clearing thing going on. There was a crate and two bulldozers. You can see it from the far right of Mantis on the brake run, or from the top of Mean Streak and Millennium Force, although the train gives the best view.

Now, this area is pretty secluded from everything else in the park, many feet away from the nearest walkway, which is the splash zone for SRF. What could it be? Only time will tell. Maybe someone could get pictures? I didn't have a camera.
That clearing is not near the beach where the boardwalk would be unless its on the other side of the peninsula. Maybe some flat rides but i havent seen any pics so i cant be sure!
Nope. Right behind Snake River Falls.
I'm sorry to report, but there is nothing happening inback of my ride (Snake River Falls). Yes there are bulldozers and back there, but nothing is really happening out there except flattening out land. The Closest midway is acually right directly next to the tracks. Frontier trail runs parallel with the train.

They have been clearing that area for awhile now. You can even see it on some of the old MF construction photos. I don't deny that this will one day be the home of a new ride, but not next year. Something will happen in the Oceana spot. We have had too many hints.

That has been going on for awhile now. It's not news.

Dispatch Master, This is Transport one! I'm losing control, I'm losing control!
Maybe they have to keep dodging wooden bullets.

;)
The clearing is for the old western town that was moved to make way for MF. If you take the boat you will see the town has been moved and is in need of some landscaping, thus the dozer.

But jonC,

Dodging wooden bullets? The Dodgem is no where near Seville. I don't see why that would slow them down anyway...I mean, they're wooden bullets, so they wooden be a problem...wooden you think?

Perhaps someone should ash the construction guys some time. It should knot have taken this long to put Seville back together. But perhaps they've just been busy and had to leaf it alone all summer.
