Lagoons

Just thinking about Disney’s recent plans/announcements & that CP has transformed the lagoons many times over the years. Does anyone think they will fill them in at some point for more space and to expand. the closure of Snake River falls & Expedition comes to mind. Hope not personally.

They've been running out of room for 25 years.

They would have to replace wetlands elsewhere. There aren't a lot of good reasons to do it.

They've apparently already run out of maintenance capacity, so I don't see how they could ever run out of real estate for rides.

Perhaps the park could modify the MF supports across the lagoon for a higher clearance, then make an offer to buy Magic Kingdom's Liberty Belle.

Fingers crossed for some off-season lagoon maintenance ;)

Sit tight fellas ;)

People don't know that Liberty Belle runs on a track. And come to think of it, that thing is so lined with concrete that it's probably not a wetland in the first place.

It was only a joke, considering the vessel looks pretty wide for the lagoon stream anyway. Not to mention the pedestrian bridge is in the way too.

Yeah I was blown away when I visited MK a couple years ago and the ride was down for refurb. The lagoon was completely empty and I saw the tracks. I had no idea until then.

Filling in the lagoons? Serious question?
