Lagoon Draining?

I know in the past, the lagoon was always drained during the winter months (can't remember why). I just noticed on the webcam that water is frozen in lagoon. When did they stop draining it?

I'll at least answer you in this topic. I don't know, but I'm sure somebody else on here does.

I'm pretty sure they drained it last year to work on Rougarou. I don't really remember them doing that any other times. My guess would be to make it easier for the maintenance crews to get in there.

I don't think they, necessarily, completely drain the lagoon every off season. I think they might drain a little bit for whatever reason but leave plenty of water for the various wildlife. That's just my guess but it'd be a great question for someone to ask during Winter Chill Out.

It was many years ago during off season tour it was mentioned they drained it every winter. That's why I was curious about it. Someone please ask at Chill Out for me, as I will not be there.
