Labor Day vs week before

Anyone know how crowded the week before Labor Day usually is? I am considering a trip for Labor Day itself, but was wondering if the lines would be significantly shorter say the Tuesday before.

I went on Labor Day a few years ago and the lines were around 45 minutes for the big coasters. But this time I have kids and am not looking forward to waiting around that long!

Usually the week before Labor Day is fairly light on crowds. Most Ohio schools are well back in session and that keeps crowds down.

I agree with Thabto; last year, I went on the last week before Labor Day, and the crowds and wait times were relatively small (at least on weekdays).
