Magnum would be cool. It is also very do-able because it is a pretty straight forward layout with not many turns.

Then on the 7th day, God went to CEDAR POINT

That be farelly easy

With the right height, Corkscrew should be easy.

Do you think TTD would work well

Many people have created TTD, so yes I think it will work very well.

I vote Magnum. I bet it'd look pretty cool. TTD wouldn't be bad either.

It's called Millennium Force, not "Millenium" Force. Thanks.

iron dragon,it doesn't get alot attention

Do Magnum. TTD has been done a thousand times.

Yeah, do Magnum. I think Iron Dragon would be hard since it has a lot of turns, but that's just my opinion...

2 things:

1. In your TTD blueprint, you show what seems to be 11 feet for every 4 squares.... that would make your model 77 feet... That would be a bit much. I assume you meant 11 feet for the whole thing?

2. Magnum looks a bit steep on both sides. The drop should be 60 degrees at its steepest, and the lift is only about 35 if that.

Thats me being a bit critical, and I understand that KNEX models are normally not real accurate. So whatever you make, I'm sure it will still be cool.

Good Luck!

The thing about knex is that, like your blueprints papermario, many people build according to the angles that are provided by the connectors. This isnt true since using the right connectors can give you any angle you want. It's all about provided the proper stability and support for them.

Hay I've made scaled down working model, I had it on my table along with a MF style cable lift. Well I used string with a 6 inch piece of flex rubber as the sled. It worked ok but I couldn't fix it up to a motor, so every time I had to pull it up the lift. I might still have picture's of it, If I find them I'll post them. Now I have made a nice TTD model, it was around 7'5" tall with three busters. Don't think I have any pictures of that.

I might have enough pieces to make Magnum's lift of CorkScrews full thing.

^^^ I meant for the whole structure. My bad.

I have narrowed it down to 2 Magnum and TTD.

Do Magnum. Her structure is easier to duplicate using knex. Keeping Dragsters tower stable using knex is very hard because of its height.

Maggie i think would be the easiest

good luck on trying it!

Sorry to tell some of you but im doing Top Thrill Dragster. So far the structure is 6ft. and my height im going fr is 11ft. Right now i am almost done with the big slope going up the hill. Now what im looking for is a launch system that can power the car to go over the hill. Ill show some pics later.

I tried to build Dragster a few years ago, and here's what I did for the launch:

Rather than using the regular battery-powered motor that K'NEX comes with, use the gears provided to turn the chain on the launch track, connect a rod to the central gears, and then hook the rod up to a drill. The drill will be powerful enough to move the chain pretty quickly. You're going to want to make the launch track at somewhat of an angle for the train to hook into the chain. I'd also recommend making the launch track fairly long to give it time to reach its optimum speed. Good luck!

2005/2006: Cedar Point - Millennium Force
2007/2008/2009: Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom - Tomorrowland Speedway
2008: Hard Rock Park - Maximum RPM! Opening Supervisor
2008/2009: Universal Orlando - Men in Black: Alien Attack Team Leader, Guest Services Coordinator

I saw some sling shot type launches. If any of you have seen Colossus the tallest model working coaster in the world that is what im looking for.
