Kingda Ka!!!

Okay, this forum was brought to my attention over at gadv.com. Look, I live in New Jersey, 40 minutes away from GAdv. Some of you here are whining and complaining about Kingda Ka.Why? Just because you're mad that you precious TTD's record was broken? Yeah, the name Kingda Ka is lame, but think about it, Top Thrill Dragster? It sounds like a 3-year old came up with the name. And all that stuff about a green tiger, maybe some of you haven't realized, but SFGAdv doesn't theme their coasters at all, so they are obviously not good at it. And who the hell cares about the coasters color? Sigh. Stop saying TTD is better then Kingda Ka, the ride isn't even built yet! When I ride Kingda Ka, I might not like as much as TTD, so really, stop Whining. And, some of you say TTD "Shattered" records, it beat S:TE(SFMM) by 20 MPH and 5 feet...so yeah. Stop complaining, you guys have a better park, a WAY better park. I have to drive 10 hours to get there. You have Millennium Force, Magnum, Raptor, and many many more. We just have Nirto, Medusa, and The Chiller(which is always down) On a better side, I thank some of you, who aren't whining and complaining, and just accepting it. You all really need to get over it, it's a roller coaster.

So instead we have someone whining about the fact that others are whining? Sounds a little bit contradictory

I have't seen any whining for weeks. Everyone that was whining stopped once they realized Kingda Ka is going to be a mechanical disaster. It sounds like you are just trying to incite some sort of arguement. Why don't you argue with yourself in the mirror. Bye!

we cry and wheep just to piss you off. my day is actually a bit better knowing i managed to piss some one off ND i think ill sleep better now. my goal has been acheived.

PS: you have way to much time on your hands to come here and write that long of a post. plus this is a super old topic.

Alright, so I'll admit that I'm one of the ones who had a hard time accepting Kingda Ka AT FIRST. That's understandable, you know. But if you're still bickering about it, give me a break. That thread about someone asking for help to prove that TTD will be better than Kingda Ka...it made me laugh. Although, as a CP fan, it sucks for me to admit, Kingda Ka is going to take over TTD (record-wise). I'm still not convinced it's going to be better, but it's possible.

What else am i going to do at 10:30 on a Sunday Night? I'm not tired at all, so i'm not gonna sleep. You weren't whining and complaining because you wanted to piss someone off, you were whining and complaining that TTD's record was taken away. Anyways, that was fun. I argue with myself all the time, so i'm not trying to start an arguement. and really, TTD wasn't a mechanical diaster when it first opened? granted it was the first of it's kind, bla bla bla... And yes, Kingda Ka will be a mess this year, and probably next, but GAdv isn't that stupid to not take care of the tallest and fastest roller coaster. That wasn't a super long post. It took all of 3 minutes(i'm a fast typer)

Professor chaos im with you. Cedar Point is still without a doubt the best amusement park in the world. But the whinning is getting a bit annoying now. I mean i still think that TTD is going to be better, just because Kingda Ka has shoulder harness's, but im not gonna whine about it. I'm glad that you don't have to drive 10 hours just to ride a strata-coaster.
