Kiddy Kingdom opinions

Is Kiddy Kingdom due for an overhaul. It does look dated but I also feel that is park of its charm. whatever happens please don't remove the giraffe . I don't know why but the giraffe is always been a favorite of mine. Is the Hippo still there?

Also should Peanuts Playground stay or go?
This might be a good site for the dark ride that someone posted about earlier.

I don't know how many people go to Peanuts Playground; I haven't really payed much attention. Woodstock's Express gets a lot of people. I think that a ride needs to go if barely any poeple ride it all season. Has Peanuts Playground been recieving a lot of guests?

Also, regarding Kiddie Kingdom, I think that I read a rumor at Screamscape.com that next year CP will add a new kiddie coaster to Kiddie Kingdom an that the following year (2005) CP will get a flying coaster. However, it is just a rumor.

Kiddy Kingdom has never been the same since the Removal of Kid Arthurs Court. What a magical place when I was a kid.

The loss of the two former lives of Snoopy Boutique always irks me as well.

Yea, the rides in kiddy kingdom seem outdated....time for some new kiddy rides and a kiddy coaster.
Yes, I remember Bear Country as well as Kid Arthur's Court. From the popularity of Woodstock Express and Junior Gemini, I think child/family themed rollercoasters/rides would be very successful in the children's areas. The magic of woodstock is that the whole family can ride! Although Junior Gemini can accomodate some adults, it is still not the same. I think the adition of any intermediate children/family rides would be very well received by the general public.

Peanut's Playground might not receive as many guests as MF or TTD will, but I know that the kids who go there love it. My little cousin (he's 3) absolutely loved it there, we had to drag him out of there. There were a lot of kids running around who just loved it. I think it would be a shame to get rid of that area. As for re-doing Kiddy Kingdom, I think that some of the rides are out-dated and they need to be replaced. Another kid coaster would be cool up in that section. My other cousin (she's 6) wanted to ride a ride with me when they visited and we were in Kiddy Kingdom and the only ride we could ride together was the Merry-go-round. Not exactally thrilling ;) We didn't have time to go back to Camp Snoopy and she wasn't tall enough for any of the bigger coaster, so yes, a new coaster in KK would be great! :)

I think Kiddie Kingdom needs a family coaster that is for all ages. Something like a Wild Mouse like at Michigans Adventure. They are compact and adults and kids can ride.
Are the ball pins still there? They were defintitely one of my favorite attractions as a kid. They seemed so deep when you were so small. I really miss bear country too!!

Young kids (less than 6 or 7) get overstimulated extremely quickly and then they wipe out and have to leave. Therefore it is important that there is a quiet, cool, peaceful area to take them on a regular basis. Peanuts Playground is great for that - I really appreciate it as a parent. We can sit there for an hour or so before heading back into the sunny, crowded, and noisy areas.

The Kiddie Kingdom is getting a little dated. Of course it's always nice to know that Some Things Never Change, but hey, everything else has changed - why not that too?

My real beef has been with Camp Snoopy - needs more shade and sitting area.

CP fan since 68.

My four year old prefers Camp Snoopy (she's an adrenaline junkie already) but my two year old loves Kiddie Kingdom, and Peanuts Playground was perhaps his favorite. I expect he will take much longer to "graduate" to bigger rides, as he's not quite as adventurous as his sister was at this age.

They got rid of the balls in 2000 with Kid Arthur's Court. I loved that whole area when I was younger, I really liked the jungle gym on top. CP needs another thing like that.

Maybe a cool flyer could go above the area so as to have a new coaster and still have room for the little kids.
