KI Opening Weekend

Hey everyone,

Just wondering who else on here besides myself is going to be at Kings Island for opening weekend. Also, if there are enough people, maybe do we want to meet somewhere? If so, any good ideas as to where?

Yeah, we'll be there.

Arriving on the evening of the 20th and staying until Sunday the 22nd.

Anyone going to Dominion for their opening day?

I'll be there on Sunday.

KD is definitely out for me. KI is probably out, for a couple reasons. I may only get down there once or twice this year, and I'd like to go after SOB reopens (if it even happens this year), or at least after X-Hawk, er... Fire-Flight...eh, whatever, is finished. The other main reason is my wife broke her ankle in January, and she's still going through some complications from the recovery. May 12 at CP seems far enough away to guarantee that day, but April 21 is a good bit closer.

I think I read at kicentral that opening weekend is also scout weekend. So it looks to be even more crowded than a usual opening weekend. Just a heads up.

Scout Fun Days *AND* Music in the Parks. Just a heads up x 2 ;)

Ewww yuk, maybe we'll postpone our trip until the following weekend.

It's not the Music in the Parks that bothers me, it's the Scout fun days and the fact that it's both days.
