Just Got Back..

Well, I just got back from a media spot out at the point, and besides the cold weather, found the park to be truly amazing during the offseason. Troika and Chaos look great in their new homes, however there will be a neutral background behind Chaos....TTD looks awesome, and yes, it really is 420 ft. Wildcat looks, well, it may take some getting used to. Mantis DID get repainted, looking very nice, and the restrooms by Scrambler have been redone, rebuilt, re-everything. Look for the Speed Zone, a TTD shop by the ride itself for all of your TTD needs. Thats it for me, thanks to PR at CP!

Cool. Sounds like the park is coming together for opening day, once again. Did you notice if Magnum received a new paint job?

No it didn't. I know the owner of the painting comp. that did the paint on Mantis,WildCat, and also some TTD painting.

I don't know where you heard the Chaos backround will be neutral, but that's not the case. Just remember that it's not done yet.

Number 1, the background for Schwabinchen will not be there. Number 2, I was informed that the general consensus was that there could be something there, but more than likely it would be neutral. I'm willing to base my money on what I was told officially, not anything else...

Neo, I'm not trying to dispute what you were told, but I also received my info from an official source. I probably shouldn't say what they told me because I'm not sure if it was ment to stay confidential or not, but the way they described it sounds kind of cool.

I'm not sure the background for Chaos is a big deal either way.....

I dont think im going to ride chaos and its all because that dang backround is neutral now. ;)

Okay, lets get back on topic. I posted this topic to inform people about some of the changes in the park. The sarcastic humor is just plain stupid now. If you have nothing better to do than to string out a stupid correction on a "background" then post somewhere else. you're wasting everyone else's time by making useless posts. This applies to almost everyone in this topic.

Ok i just was at the park at this is what i have to say,

i got to sit in the brackers parking lots and empoly one too the cop passed and said nothing so I was alowed.

Dragster did go all the way over i saw it and it went over 2 times in 30 min. I was there since 4PM

they don't have the count down lights on yet but they have a metal box waiting for them. they have the line rains up in the middle

milli has 2 of it 3 trains on, milli had the blue and yellow on and the red train was siting on the ground

Some other rides were testing, power tower , big wheel,corkscrew,speace spiral, dragster, and blue steack and mantis did get panted and looks alsome

they have a lot of dirt for the dragster area and a sigh was up station looks so cool. they have lights on the ground to light the tower . when i went there they were poring some concret by the jon deer part

oh one other thing
they have a extened suport on wicked twister on the side that it cracked on the are yellow and start from the green support and it goes till have way up the yellow track it is very small but you can see it from the parking lot. about have way up the yellow track. it is not a whole suport though. like from the grownd up it is not. 3/4 of the way up they are very thin though. you can see them good just the one side has them.

there are only 2 the side facing the diving pool.

one other thing they have the fence up around dragsters track and it looks cool. it looks just like it it is black.

i would say i was only 20 ft away from the tower.

Well I hope you enjoyed that trip report and i am going back on wedesday or i should say tommorow and i will have pics this time of launch and other things.

Definitley cool that they are testing all of these rides, and that also gave us alot of info. about how TTD is coming along themeing wise but just one thing, can you please try at least a little bit harder to spell properly. Honestly it doesn't take that long, and yes it is annoying and sometimes even a little bit hard to understand what the heck you are talking about.

Hey Carsten16...just curious. When you saw Dragster do a full run, did you notice if it was still moving pretty fast at the tophat, or was it goin slow over? Just curious to see how much airtime we can expect.
