just curious

I was just wondering, I've overheard several times about jeff being short on time and with the little time he has, he is goin to renovate this "dump". Now I'm not the biggest computer wizzard in the world by any means but I was just wanting to know what the plans are to make this great site even better.

first off, I know jeff doesn't like me and vise-versa, but I have to say, there's not much more he can do. And I hate to defend him, but I feel i need to. MAYBE a chatroom, but thats the only other thing I can thing of, and believe you me, coding a chatroom in ASP is no easy, or quick task. Anyways, jeff got a new job earlier this year, which I have heard nothing about, but I'm assuming he still has? So, to answer your question, a chatroom, and better watch out cause jeff & eveyrone else will eat you alive for posting this topic. I know from experience!

It's just time for a redesign and revision. It'll look different, the content will be updated. I can assure you there will never be a chatroom. Not ever.

Hey, I think the sites pretty darned good. Its setup pretty good(or at least I think so, I know nothing about that kinda stuff), and he seems to keep it up nicely.

However..he doesnt like ME a lot more than he doesn't like YOU..so nanner nanner boo boo:-p

And I'm surprised that none of the trolls went nute over this post. Anyways, sorry for even saying something about a chatroom, and why do you need to redesign? Maybe update some content but not redesign.!

I think one reason people hate the chat-room idea is because it would just take away from the "forum" atmosphere, where things are moderated and don't get out of control. In a chat room, Jeff, Dan, Spartan, and who ever else is a mod, can't always be there to stop "yo' mama" bashing and stuff like that. What may start as a CP chat would quickly become, "age-sex-location check?" chat, and then evolve to "what kind of music/movies do you listen to/watch?", and ulitimatley get away from the whole initial idea of the chat, Cedar Point.
