one of my favourtie memories of Jungle Larry was not actually going into the safari itself, but coming into the brake run on Cork Screw and being able to look down at the Lions resting in the shade.
Good times.
I fondly remember Jungle Larry's Safari Island. The trees were very dense, so it seemed you were walking into a jungle. The best part was watching Larry at the live show he would put on to showcase different animals. I met him several times as a child and thought he was great man.
I remember Jungle Larry from the days I worked at the Point. He was always a nice guy to speak with in the Employee Cafeteria. I also remember watching him as a kid on Captain Penny.
