Johnny Rockets vs. Fascination? Does it really mat

I just got back from a 3 day vacation at CP day 1 and day 3 were at CP and I just want to start by saying to all the people that act like losing Fascination was the end of the world...
.
.
.
WHAT PLANET ARE YOU FROM?!

I'm sorry but I've been inside Fascination and compared to what it is now, I'd have to say that Johnny Rockets is much more deserving of the area. It's just so much fun when you're waiting for your food and the waiters just drop what they're doing and start dancing to Love Shack or Respect in perfect sync. Not to mention that they serve some of the best darn food I've ever had in my life, in fact the food was SO good we ate at the restaurant a SECOND time, which we have NEVER done at CP before in the same trip. So before all you Fascination fans lamenting it's loss make a solemn vow to never enter Johnny Rockets as it could never be as good as Fascination, take a step inside...you might like what you see.

The only remaining Fascination game in Pa is an hour from me... I hope they don't rip it out to put a resturant in there :(

don't get me wrong I like Rockets too..Alot actually (sorry Dan)! But "some of the Best Food you've had in your life"?? You don't eat out much do you? :)

Also I'm still not sure if the white building fits in with the blue gaming scheme..They need to repaint the games to match....

Well...I guess thats being a bit overdramatic, but as far as burgers go, they sure do know how to make a good one, they're supposed to be a chain I wonder if they have one in Michigan...

I'm sure the burgers are good (if you like burgers), just as Fascination was a good game, if you like those sorts of games!

There a BIG chain..I've ate at a few..It is a good burger though I do agree..

CP Rockets is highly priced though compared to the rest but that was expected..Its also a scaled down Menu compared to a normal Rockets.

I would have preferred a restaurant unique to Cedar Point rather than a chain.

Friday's is the exception to that rule.

Do the other Rockets serve the sides automatically WITH the burger? Or do you have to order them separatly like the one at CP?

No need to worry. After visiting SFO/WOA/GL last year, my chances on returning there are worse than Dan eating one of those Rocket burgers.

In the long run though, I think Johnny Rockets will bring in more money than Fascination, people are more willing to spend money on food than on games, and both times when I went into Johnny Rockets every seat but 1 or 2 was full so it's obviously doing pretty well.

First off I have total a total respect for your opinion, but Fascination REALLY did mean a lot to me. I hate having to justify this every time it comes up. Every time the subject comes up people always ask me "Did you really play it that much?" The answer is yes I did. I go to the park solo a lot and it was a nice play to go and relax for a few hours and collect some tickets and have some fun. Now with it gone I really have no reason to go to the front of the park.

Yes Spartan did trick me into eating a fry from JR. It was during the Gemini 100 and he had a tray of fries, they appeared to have come from one of the normal food stands. He offered me a fry with a huge smile on his face. I was hungry and I downed one fry and he told me where they came from. I was shocked.

I have had a ton of people offering me to buy me lunch or dinner there and I always refuse.

To answer the earlier question, there are Johnny Rockets in Michigan. The only one that comes to mind at the moment is in the Southfield Star Theater in Southfield, MI.

There is a nice one at Great Lakes Crossing as well, Galen...eat there all the time. Maybe I can get a frequent diners card, like they have at Fridays...hmm...

Isn't jr a lot like coasters? If it is I think it's pretty lame to have put it there.

As for fascination,I played it at knoebels last week. Unless I'm missing something the game seems impossible to win on. It seems like the same people win all the time. Other then that it's not bad.

Good luck in philly j.r.
Guess CLP (Conneaut Lake Park)lied to me... that means that theres TWO (at least) fascination games in PA! Next time I'm there I'm gonna yell at someone.

Which is exactly the reason that Fascination is gone!

I never knew that the game "facination" existed until i heard they were tearing it down :(. I probly never be able to relate to what dan is talking about but still, there were two facinations in the world and there are a lot of johnny rockets.
CLP had a Fascination? That means there is a Fascination running less than two hours from my house!

TWO WORDS: FIELD TRIP! Next tuesday!
