mf laps = 100! No More No Less!!
How big does it look? Lots of tables, few tables, just a counter, what? I've been curious since the Fascination building isn't all that big in the first place.

They used most of the Fascination space for the reasturant.. They extended the building into the Cash Control area for the kitchen and storage and coolers.

It's supposed to seat 200 or so people.. When I got to walk through on Monday with Mr. Kinzel and Scott Britt of Stone Mountain, it really didn't look that big.

MF 2000 - 269 laps

MF 2001 - 59 laps as of (5/28/01)
Yeah! Screw playing a cheap game that was a lot of fun, I want to blow my money on overpriced food that I can get just about anywhere!! Sweet!

Let's see some pictures for those of us that are stranded over 900 miles away!
I've been going to CP since the seventies and last year was the first year I stepped foot in Fascination and the families had a great time. I thought we had started a new tradition. I am still trying to get over the demise of the Surf Lounge in the Breakers. Can't even get a seat in Fridays, I guess a couple of ferns and other crazy crap on the walls makes everyone want to have a drink.
Johnny Rockets looks really cool from the outside (I was there yesterday), but the food is average, you can get most fo the same stuff at Coasters. It was not worth taking away Fascination!

I'm with you Dan....Johnny who? I heard the food is alright because my area manager got to eat there for food testing. I told him he better have good medical coverage from the park!

P.S.- Dan my 2001 count on magnum is catching up...I wanna be I wanna be like DAAAAN...LoL

2001 Magnum - 135
2001 MF - 72
2001 Gemini - 109
2001 Raptor - 69
So how much does a food like substance cost there anyway? I thought it was expensive in a strip mall, can't imagine how much it would be in an amusement park.

When are we going to get a huge night club for resort guests? I'll gladly spend $20 or $30 a night for something like that (as long as some of it is bar food). What I'd do for a Winking Lizard or BW-3 franchise in the resort area.

Futuristic bow-wow... do the dog catcher!
I remember a couple years ago there was this bar/restaurant where the OTB is now. My cousin and I went there for drinks one time the night before we went to the park. That place had the best meatballs. Still wasn't resort area, but it was better than some other places.

ucsigep is talking about Johnny Angels. Click my Info link and you'll see me drinking a 32oz. Long Island Iced Tea at the place. I always seemed to have the best times at that place. They had a Toga Party every Feb. that attracted people from three states! You could always count on a wild and zany time at the bar at Johnny Angels. I was sorry to see it go.
Ahh, yes, Johnny Angels, I still salivate over the enormous mexican pizza I ordered there on my first and only visit :(
