John Albino

I always wondered about this Executive's corporate history. I remember him from the summer of 1980 for some odd reason. Perhaps he was the only black tag that I had ever spoken to. I do not remember.

Anyone know about him (other than the litigation he is involved with..he he)

I think he was head of CP's food service operation at one time.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

Indeed. I remember him because of his last name and the fact that he lead Food Operations at the time (1980). As I worked in the old Frontier Inn I had an idea of who the bosses were.

I do remember all of the managers meeting and Albino put on a slide show (this is what we used before Power Point) that captured various Food Op's errors. The most infamous of which were the group of 15 year old girls drinking beer on the benches of the Frontier Inn. The beer was bought by older guys. No way they got it from us.

I remember working at CP in 86, at the Corral, and seeing him walk around with his saddle shoes. From what I noticed sometimes he seemed nice...other times rather intimidating. He was always nice too me and seem interested in the staff.

There was a lady that worked in food service as a supervisor....not nice at all...Sue something. She always seemed rather "bitter."

I remember a manager in food service named Dave...VERY nice guy!

My immediate sup was Loren Bartzen. He was very nice. The zone manager was a guy by the name of Dan Windau?? It has been a quarter century so I may be a little hazy on the names. Heck I do not remember all of the names...

Good times though.

What litigation he is involved with? He was the general manager of Dorney Park where both my children worked until June 2004.

I think the litigation involves his retirement and the options he was to receive.
