Joe Cool Confusion

I went to Meijer and bought a season pass. I asked if they could add Joe Cool. The lady responded "I don't know nothin about no Joe Cool". Then she filled out a form and put "11" under "Joe Cool Number"(She had numbers there for everone that bought a pass there) This confused me even more. What do I have to do to get a Joe Cool Pass? Can I get it added on when I get my Season Pass processed? Is there a way to know if she put me in the Joe Cool Club without charging me?

You can add it at the Season Pass Center when you get your ID.

Get your pass proccessed, as is. If JCC isn't on it, you can add it.

Thanks guys!
I have a question now I have joe cool pass and I was wondering when the gates opened on opening day and am I allowed a half hour early in the park before the gates open or is that before the gates open.

So if the gates open at 9:00AM then I will be allowed in at 8:30 to ride or can when the ride opens at 10:00AM then I get to ride it at 9:30AM I am confused.

If someone could help me out with this question that would be great.

Joe Cool for me came as a seperate certificate, so if you don't have that, then chances are you'll have to add JCC at the season pass office.

I get mad thinking about those resort guests getting in as early as us "Joe Cool" folks. Jeez! I seriously doubt that the hotel needed any "perks" to increase occupancy. Let them pay darnit, just like we did!

Carsten, although you'll be allowed in half an hour early, the rides won't start until an hour later (with the exception of MF and Raptor, they start as soon as JC entry). So, for example, you'll get in early at 9, with the gates opening to the GP at 9:30. The park "starts up" at 10 (again, with same exception as above). I think the real point of this is to allow people to get in line for that new roller coaster or whatever. This is how I remember it as a resort guest last year, correct me if I'm wrong.

"macho nachos", resort guests DO pay!!! Don't you call (an average of) $200 a night paying?!?

So then is there a separate Joe Cool line, or do you just flash your season pass at somebody and they let you through?

Come on people, this poetry's not going to appreciate itself!

At the main gate there is a season pass line for entry. When the gates open you give your pass to the person at the gate. If it's a Joe Cool pass then they will let you in, if not you have to wait til the gates open to the GP. Once you are in the park you can do what you like.

I know there is a special entrance at the main gate. I think it is the centr aisle. It was marked somehow last year but I don't remember.

I'm in Joe Cool, and a twice-a-season-for-several-days-each Resorts guest. Trust me, Resorts guests are paying. :)

The gate wasn't exactly too labeled, i got in the wrong line last year, and had to find out 20 minutes later whent the line was HUGE!

Brian I understand that resort guests are paying, that's their choice. I also that understand that they were paying for many years before they were allowed in the park with the Joe Cool season pass holders. I would gladly pay more for JC and not have to deal with the resort guests. Last season I never got more than one ride on MF during ERT, and that was after begging my friends that I had talked into purchasing JC to go with me early, they thought it was a big rip off and would never purchase it again.

Can you go to any Meijer and buy a season pass? Then do you have to wait in the line at CP to get your picture?
I'm rarely there early enough to get in with JCC folks unless I'm already staying on-point. If JCC weren't a free add-on to early-purchase combo passes, we'd probably only buy one, to get the portable parking pass. As it is, both my wife and I are in it. I doubt we'll use early entry (that we couldn't use resorts for) and we already have other plans for both May 9th and the 30th. I suspect we'll take not infrequent advantage of the free kids buffet at Midway Market, and perhaps a few of the other discounts.
Though I dont have JC I'm glad that resort guests get in early. I will be at CP for 3 days this year. This means its pointless for me to get a season pass, especially because one of the days is with school, and I will still have to pay $163, I dont think if I had a season pass, that I would be able to use it(I am coming from 7 hours away and the day before we are going to clevland).

I think a good way to do it is if you stay at one of the resorts you can pay an extra fee to go in early, becuse some people wouldnt bother, but people like me/us who are enthusiasts, but can't go to CP often, can benefit

Oh yeah, breakers express(another place you can get in CP early) is only like 60 dollars a night for parts of May(when I'm going for the first time)

Living in Texas, I don't get to The Point often enough to purchase a Season Pass or JCC, so I'm grateful the resort guests get in early. So sorry if we are such a bother to you JCC people, wait, no I'm not either.
Can someone tell me what time the Joe Cool pass holders are let into the park and if they can get in through the soak city entrance?
