Joe Cool Club = OUTSTANDING DEAL

According to an advertisment in today's Plain Dealer (Cleveland's Newspaper)...for 2002 Season Passes, Joe Cool Club memebrs will receive "specail discounts and OVER 75 days of exclusive ride times on Wicked Twister and Millenium Force".

My JC Membership was free because we bought the combo pass, but this HAS to be worth the extra charge.

Heck with the line on Wicked Twister, I'll see you at the exclusive ride time!!!!!!!!!!!!

75 DAYS!!!! Thats awesome, thats actually more than half of the season.  Great great deal!  Glad I got mine already!

Darn, it looks like I will have to go to CP more than 75 times next year! :) Since mine was free also this is an incredible deal. Thank you CP!

I mean no, it isn't worth a penny. The lines were all 2 hours long this year for Joe Cool, don't join. ;)

I don't even know if I'll actually wait in line for Millennium or Wicked Twister this year!

ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR DAY HERE AT CEDAR POINT...AMERICA'S ROCKIN ROLLER COAST. *CLEAR*
I have two questions for those of you that know a lot about CP.

1)  When do they announce the dates for Joe Cool ERT (I want to plan my trip so I can attend at least one)?

2)  How long in advance do I have to reserve a room at the Sandcastle?

If it helps for any question I am planning on visiting in early to mid June.

Thanks

No need to be mad, Midway Man - you can still buy a JC membership anytime.  During the offseason you can get them at cedarpoint.com, and when during the 2002 season you can get them at the Season Pass Center.

As for your questions, Shorty:
- It's hard to know when they will announce the dates, but you can be sure that it will be sometime before May.  It will probably come in Jan, Feb, or March - I forget when it was last year...
- I can't really be specific but I know this about reserving at CP;  it depends heavily on the time of year how easy it will be to get a room.  I would think that a month or two in advance is safe.

I think they announced it in the Season Pass Newsletter that they send to PassHolders. I think it was sent out in April or May.
Heh, and if every season passholder upgrades to Joe Cool now, then so much for "exclusive" :)

damm  !  Joe Cool was cool ,becuase not too many people were there, which made some great ERT for the force.   Now everyone and their grandma will do it.   I'll still get mine, hopefully with all these extra days it will thin out the crowds.

But Still  ...  THANK YOU CP !

One of two things will happen. Either this will sell a whole lot of Joe Cool upgrades or the ERT will be very "E!"

Maybe I'll finally make it to one this year.. Schedule never allowed it seeing how they were usually on Thursdays and with Sabrina having Weds. off usually.. it meant getting to CP abotu 11am on Thurs so she could make it to work..

I hope they're still going to give away free gnat breakfasts next year...what a great value. It could also be a clever marketing ploy: "Join the Joe Cool Club and enjoy our all you can eat protein buffet on Millennium Force for just $15"  :)

"Harry Flowerpot!"

"Goldfish don't bounce"

I know it's somewhat a small number, but maybe they are trying to "up" their coaster count.
The 75 ERT sessions will be a half hour before the park opens. Not the hour like it was last year and it is only for Millennium Force and Wicked Twister. That's fine with me as I only rode MF last year anyway.

...Don't tell Dan that...things could get ugly!
The half an hour is still good. But, now I'm mad because I decided to work at Cedar Point next year. Oh, well!

I think it’s great that CP is having so many ERT sessions – I’m just disappointed that the plan doesn’t work for me. Most of my trips are made in the evening, after work.  The only time I go in the morning, I am usually with people who do not have season passes.  Maybe some year they will add evening ERT sessions (not likely, but you never know).
