Joe Cool Club - what's that?

Other than the $3 pop, my only major complaint yesterday was the lack of knowledge of the Joe Cool Club benefits. We were walking past the Gemini Games Area and decided to play the softball toss. According to the benefits page on the park's web site, games there are "buy one, get one free." The games hostess didn't know and neither did her supervisor, so I paid $2 for one game. If CP is going to have these benefits, the employees should be aware of them.

We had this problem last year as well. I'm almost afraid to use the benefit at other locations :) Maybe I should start carrying around the JCC flyer :)

Same thing happened last year when they had buy one entree get one free at Silver Dollar. Lucky for me the supervisor did know about it and I still got the deal.

I had similar problems yesterday. I played the same games and got the extra game. It took questions to about three people to get the games. (They make me work hard for my savings :) They should post the what JCC members get at locations that take it. I'm not sure how the game employee rotations work. Do they float all over the park? If so that may be part of the information problems.

Get with it or die in the process.....

I saw someone receive a free coffee mug in the Pagoda gift shop after buying a t-shirt. They keep the "free" mugs behind the pay counter and what they give you is what you get. There is no choice there.
The mugs have a blue CP and say Cedar Point-On Top Of The World. Nice freebie to go along with my new jacket.
