Joe Cool club

My son and I have season passes again this year but this is the first year we have gotten the Joe Cool Club. Could someone explain to me exactly how this works? Say the park opens at 10am. Does this mean you can get in at 9am to ride? Or can you just get in at 9am to get in line for when the rides start at 10? Thanks!

Actually it is both.

For example I walked by Magnum Jerry as he was waiting for Magnums line to open. Yet I was on my way to Millennium Force which was open at 9am.

So yes. 9am to ride certain rides. The available rides vary.

Those are the early (and late) entry rides as of right now. As mentioned, they are subject to change at any time.

ERT rides will open, mechanical and weather permitting, at 9AM. The general rule in the past has been that the other attractions will open by 10AM, or park opening. Some may open at 9:30, others not until 10.

I was actually susprised to see how many attractions were opening prior to 10AM yesterday, considering that the general public is not let into the park until 10.

Last year there were also a few attractions that didn't open until 11AM. I didn't check yesterday to see if that rule still applied to those attractions, other than Snake River Falls and Thunder Canyon, which will open at 11.

Mean Streak opened at 11am. I waited for it.

It appears that they're still going to open the non ERT rides whenever they get them up and running, just like they have in the past. So I guess that's sort of a bonus for JCC members, since they'll be the only ones in the park at those times. I saw Iron Dragon taking riders around 9:40 on opening day.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

I was riding the Raptor #2 times with the JCC, and I saw the Blue Streak running with people on the ride. I ran over and rode the Coaster by myself; which was my first time on a coaster. Last yr I rode the CHAOS by myself.

^ So you wouldn't consider Raptor a coaster? ;)

I got back on the Raptor then after the Blue Streak. It was the FRONT SEAT

Did the Mr. Cedar Point have fun at the Cedar Point in the Sandusky the Ohio?

Chris - that's good to hear. It was always nice to have rides open up early, especially when its the one you want to ride. *cough*Magnum*cough*
