Its in DEEP REGRET an end of an era at cedar point

I just found out that Don Miears, Cedar Points executive Vice President and General Manager will be retiring at the end of the year. My family and I are really saddened at his leaving. Don was a people person. Every time we would go into the park you could see Don mingling with park guests, and stopping to talk and asking how our day was and how everything is going at the park. Don you will be sorely missed by us. And my family and I want to wish you the best in your retirement and continued good health.......

The DM years were indeed good ones. Now, however, welcome the dawn of a new era. Will WOF's loss be CP's gain?

Interesting... I've been hearing this for a couple of weeks now, only for different reasons. Any bets on who will replace him?

I think Keller is most likely too, but John Albino wouldn't be a suprise either.

I heard it is the Guy from WOF Smith i believe is his name..alot of people are talking coming back just to work with him. they say he is a fun guy to work for..that what i heard

The "Smith" you are thinking of is most likely Daryl Smith who was at CP.. then Dorney.. the CP and now owns his own park. Dan Keller is from WOF.

and as for who I think with replace Mr. Miears... I think it's going to be the Lemon Chill guy!
