Is TTD Worth It?

I go Memorial Day Weekend to the Point. But, TTD is only 15 seconds long & it will be brand new so it will be like 3 hrs long for a wait. Is the wait really worth it for a 15 second ride? I know its for the thrills but I want to prove it to my family that I'm right. (I think they're scared)

I think that answers your question...

Hehe well. . .you don't really say what position you take on the subject. . . so it's hard to support whether you are "right" or not. But, why on earth would you NOT ride TTD?

Do you plan on going more than once this summer? If so, then as long as you ride it sometime, you wouldn't have to ride it during your first trip.

But if you are going only once, then of course you should ride it if you want to, no matter how long the line is.

If you don't want to ride it, then don't. It's really not up to discussion. Hehe.

Joey: Hey-hey, I'm not judging.

I wouldn't be too worried about a really long wait. First of all, I really believe that Dragster will be able to hit (or at least get close to) its targeted capacity of 1500 pph. This would mean that the line would be moving faster than MF's, and should help a lot. Also, if you are staying at the park, you should be able to get into the park a half-hour early for reduced wait times (15-30 minutes probably). If not, the line length will still likely fluctuate throughout the day - you might get lucky and find a time when the wait is less than an hour. Finally, and this is perhaps the most notable saviour if you are trying to avoid a long line, you can get a Freeway stamp for Dragster at around 11am that will give you one ride with a 15 minute wait (or so). Definitely try to take advantage of this, and you will be fine. Enjoy!

It's always worth it. The park will still be there next year and the year after and I bet years and years after that. Even if you don't get to ride some of the other rides this time, there's always a next time. A lot of the other rides will probably have shorter lines anyway, so there'll be time to spare.
Take a look at the drop pictures on cedarpoint.com. How can you not think it will be worth it? I think once you see it in person, you will definitely want to ride it.

I doubt that you will have to wait that long for it during Memorial Day weekend anyway. Suprisingly enough, Memorial Weekend is not that busy, even on Saturday.
I'd heard that many times as well, and broke down and went on a Memorial Day. The place was packed.

Exactly, OldCPer...Case in point last year. Most of May, last year, was not good as far as weather goes;however, when Memorial Weekend came along with the nice weather that came with it cause the park to be crowded. In fact, it was VERY crowded on that Sunday.
Memorial Day weekend...not busy?? I think that Sunday was one of the busiest days of the entire summer. I remember hearing that every single room in the hotels were booked. Memorial Day Monday was not nearly as busy though so if you want to go, go on that day.

Isn't this question a little silly, seeing as how none of us have been on the ride? Furthermore, we don't know what the lines will be like because we don't know anything about how the capacity will pan out, or how crowded the park will be.
