Is Slingshot worth the price?

I have never been on it because it is so much money. Has anyone here ever been on it and was it worth your money?

I do like slingshot a lot. Use your platinum pass for the discount.

I got a free pass from Tony and I loved it. But with those prices, I don't know if I personally would pay for it.

If you want to try it out, the sling shot at KI starts out early in the day at $5 each person and goes up in price as the day goes on.

The answer to this question is going to vary depending on the person and their situation.

Most visits to Cedar Point, I don't feel it's worth the $25. My reasoning: Cedar Point has such an excellent collection of thrilling and fun rides (included with admission) that I enjoy as much or more than this. I've been on Slingshot and plenty of other rides like it. They're fun, but nothing over the top. I think the view of the park is the highlight for me.

If this was at my local zoo and $25, I'd feel it was worth it. If I had never ridden it and was conquering a fear, it'd be worth it. If there were really long lines in the park and no one was waiting for this, it might be worth it.

Also, CP runs Buy 1, Get 1 Free specials on Slingshot when business is slow. Split the cost with a friend, and your decision might be easier.

Sweet that's awesome, I had no idea about that bogo deal. I'll definitely go on it during that time :D

I would love to be able to find that out. I have never been able to try it as it requires 2 riders and I'm the only one in my group interested. Over the last couple of years I spend around an hour or so, every couple of visits just hanging out waiting for another single rider. I never manage to encounter one. :(

My gut tells me when I don finally get to try it, it will be soooo worth it!

I dont think i have ever payed full price. Ive either gotten a discount from a promotion or a coupon.

I think its worth it. It might be one of the most thrilling ride in the park.
