Is Screamscape Usually Right?

This is what they had to say about the new ride: "Screamscape has it here and now... and it seems that The Point will deliver a really BIG thrill next season. If the rumored stats are true, this sucker is expected to be the world’s fastest, tallest, continuous circuit coaster ever built. We’re talking about an Intamin Rocket Coaster that may shoot you out at 110mph up a vertical 420 foot tall mountain and straight down the other side. More info coming as we get it!"

How right is Screamscape usually? Is it wrong to get excited about what they have to say?

Cedar Point, it may not be heaven, but is sure is close.

Screamscape isn't a very reliable rumor source. They put up just about anything anyone will give them.
Screamscape is sometimes right, sometimes wrong. Take any "rumors" with a large grain of salt until the park(s) in question make official announcements.

Screamscape often quotes what other folks have said elswhere on the Web.

The current VF rumor not only quotes URC, it takes one posters's joke (that the 'B's painted on the ground by the survey points = brake run) seriously and uses it out of context.

The CPlaya 100--6 days, 9 parks, 47 coasters, 2037 miles and a winner.....LoCoSuMo.

It's amazing that every coaster site that does this Cp rumor, the top hat is getting taller and taller. By the end of next week it will be 1000 Ft High....LOL
