Is Millennium Force Worth?

This a dumb topic.

Is it worth it? My answer is HELL YES it's worth it!

Although, if you really want to find out go ride for yourself. I honestly don't know how someone can go to CP 8 times and never ride MF regardless of the wait time.

You have to ride at least once just to experience it even if the line is 2 hours long. You won't regret it. I bet other rides were pretty long that you waited for but you still rode. Ever rode TTD? The lines for that can be really long.

I generally won't bother unless it's 30 minutes or so, or I have someone with me who has never been on before. Even then, I won't wait much more than an hour and a quarter or so. Too many other great things to do, and too easy to get on without much of a wait early in the morning.

I have waited 3 1/2 hours and I have walked right on over and over. They were all worth it each time. MF is my drug of choice.

It's alright I guess.

Definately worth the wait and my Favorite Steel Coaster Ever!! I'd Say Dragster is worth the wait too, but you have to be patient for it though when it decides to go down. Even though Millennium Force is down now it will be back up and running soon. You gotta believe!! Millennium Force is entering it's 7th season and break downs like this will happen.

Yea...according to another blog, it is apparently up and running again!!! Millennium Force is the best ride out there. I remember the first time i rode it. We waited a solid 2.5 hours to ride it. I've never waited for anything longer than 1.25 hours or so up till that point. I must say, there is nothing like it in the world. Utter and total freedom!!! Don't let time be the reason not to ride it.

I ride the coaster in my white tee...

Stay at Lighthouse Point and the wait can be 5 minutes--for the front car.

MrScott (Who doesn't wait more than 30 minutes for any ride anymore)

Hey, MrScott, sorry if this sounds dumb, but I don't understand. Why does staying at LP get you on MF quicker than normal?

Because it's a CP Resort. The same is true for Hotel Breakers, Sandcastle and Camper Village. You get the early entrance when staying on property. And the free shuttle service, which will take you to any gate you want to enter. (Use the Marina gate for MF and the Soak City gate for TTD and Maggie)

I'll never stay off property again. Next Lighthouse Point visit is in 2 weeks :)

BTW, I don't understand why, but the shuttles seem to start running at 7am. The earliest you can ride coasters is 9am. Maybe they are hauling people to restaurants for breakfast?

Mayor, Lighthouse Point

I rode MF three times and was very impressed each time. I stayed at Breakers Express so I got in early and ran directly to MF. I waited about five minutes in the station. As soon as I got off I got back in line and waited about twenty five minutes for the front seat.

The first time I rode MF was like the first time I saw Star Wars. Truly a life changing experience.

Yeah, and just like the advances in SFX technology with the movies we'll be saying the same thing about MF in 25 years - "Man, remember when 300 feet seemed HUGE?" as we are riding whatever super monstrous mind-blowing roller coasters exist in the future;)

When I go to CP for my first time I'm going through the Marina gate straight to MF. I'm waiting for the very back seat. I'm gonna pull that seat belt and lapbar so tight im gonna lose circulation. Then there's no turning back. I'll probably run around to the line again.

millenium is completely worth it, id wait 3 hours

I'm new here, so hello. I am going to date myself but here goes. In the middle 70s when the corscrew first came out they had signs every so often to tell you how long your wait was from that particular point. Four hour waits were not unusual. I kinda laugh at my sons, and others that complain about two hour lines. That being said, the Force is more than worth any line you may have to stand in.

You shouldn't date yourself. It's unhygenic. ;)

Heck, I already feel that way about Magnum..."200 feet? ptth I can't believe that once impressed me". :) Still a great ride though.
I'm still impressed by MF, that's easily been my favorite since it opened. I've waited over two hours for it several times, but like Mr. Scott I don't wait more than a half hour for anything anymore. Staying on-site for early entrance and/or going on off-peak days are the two biggest things for me now. I think it's because I'm starting to feel old and don't want to waste time in line (even if it is for a great ride). That's the same reason I don't understand why elderly people tend to move slowly...all I can think is "you don't have much time left! Move faster!" :)

I have to agree with Mr. Scott. I went on Wed. and the line was at almost an hour. I decided not to ride, because I've already had a couple of rides this year and didn't want to make others in my group wait a while for me. I still plan on going for Halloweekends and want to get at least one more ride in. On a side note, the Magnum was the best ride I've had on it ever(fast).
