I heard that they fixed the Mean Streak and its not bumpy anymore. I can't go on bumpy ride( I can but my back is always bruised up after!).
And your question is...
I will take my best guess at what you are trying to ask though.
Mean streak will never be smooth unless they give it steel track like CCMR or Gemini.
Personally I do not consider Magnum bumpy but that is my opinion.
Mean Streak is rough and jerky and is still one of my favorite coasters because of its' length. I have some back problems so I have to prepare (proper holding on with my arms) myself for it.
Magnum is not 'bumpy',when it came out it was considered the smoothest rollercoaster but the new ones have surpassed it in smoothness. To avoid the extreme airtimes on the 'bunny hops',it's best to tighten the lap belt as much as possible.

I actually don't feel like Mean Streak is that bad anymore. A lot of people like to say tear it down, but to me if they did that, there would be only one true wooden roller coaster in the park. That would be Blue Streak. I think that's why Cedar Point decided to do the 3 year track work on Mean Streak. I feel like it's a much better wooden roller coaster. I'd have to say that Grizzly and Hurler at Kings Dominion were rougher than Mean Streak.
Meanstreak is pretty mean. I find it a very unpleasant coaster. It looks cool though.
First half of the Magnum is great, but the bunny hills on the second half kill my legs.
I can't ride Mean Streak anymore -- it has "supposedly" been improved since last season, but quite frankly, from all reports from all family and friends who have ridden it this year is that it is seriously bumpy -- I can't ride it because it severely hurts my neck and back to ride it.
Magnum, on the other hand, is the way it has always been -- has never felt bumpy to me. Not as smooth as the newer coasters, but certainly not "bumpy"
Since its gone through track rehab, ive found Mean Streak to be much more tolerable. Now if you want a rough ride try Wild Beast at CW or Hurler at KD.
I was at the park yesterday (trip report later) and I actually will say Mean Streak is now tolerable to a big extent. Fun, not really, it's sorta boring, still vibrates in the turns a bit, and no airtime due to trims, ect. However it is rideable, I rode red train car two row one, and had no problems. Like I said though, the drop is nothing now because it's trimmed to all holy hell, and the rest of the layout suffers as a result and just kinda, meh. I will say though that first fan turn is impressively smooth which was absolutely amazing to feel.
Corkscrew, Power Tower, Magnum, & Monster/ Witches Wheel Crew 2011
i dont find magnum bumpy really at all. Mean streak however.. omg.. I used to love that ride and after riding it last week i think itll be my last. My husband and i nicknamed it the angry rabbit. Oh my..
We recently took our 15 year old niece to the point for her first ever visit. I agreed (just knowing I would probably regret it) to ride Mean Streak with her as she wanted to ride every coaster in the park. I was pleasantly surprised how much it has improved since I had stopped riding it 4 or 5 years ago.
It's still a bit rough, particularly towards the end of the ride, but very rideable in my opinion. She loved it by the way.
Cedar Point fans since when Blue Streak was still the " big one".
I guess it's a matter of preference. Mean Streak is a LOT more tolerable than it used to be. Rode it twice in a row last week (walking on both times) and was fine. The bunny hills on Magnum are killer for me though. Every time the kids want to go on it, I cringe, LOL.
Mean Streak is fine - its a wooden coaster and its supposed to be a little rickety. Magnum, on the other hand, is smooth for the most part but the bunny hops are painful if you don't adjust your lap bar properly...

In my opinion mean streaks roughness is exaggerated.. It is on par with the roughness of other woodies of its size. When I last rode on MS it was towards the front of the train and when I last rode blue streak it was in the very back seat. Comparing these last two expierences I would say that blue streak was much less smooth, however I still really love the idea of a mean streak topper track because the layout of the coaster lends itself to a Rocky Mountain makeover.
Magnum on the other hand was the roughest major steel coaster without inversions I have been on. The layout is much the same as the Mamba or Wild Thing so I expected it to be completly smooth which was not at all the case. It wasn't at all painful or uncomphterable, just a little rattley which is not a sensation I particularly enjoy on a steel coaster.
But to sum it up, neither coaster should cause you any problems it just won't be as smooth of an expierence like MF.
They are both rough IMO but unfortunately Magnum is the only coaster CP has that has any airtime since the park doesn't believe in putting in any airtime machines!
Yeah, I concur with the suprisingly minimal airtime at cedar point.
Top Steel: New Texas Giant
Top Wood: Timberwolf (don't judge me..)
Magnum is a wild beast that is fun to ride as long as you sit in a good seat. Here is my recommended seat list.
