I am sorry because I know this an old subject but i never heard a confirmed answer. i even heard that it was going to be moved to Michigan's Adventure in muskegon, mi. If anyone could give an answer that would cure my frustration.
Its been confirmed, and re-confirmed. Magnum is NOT sinking. Never was. It might in the future, but right now, it is not.

Because the maintenance budget has been cut so much that they can't fix it, and if they close Magnum, they'll have even LESS budget to work with.

If you can't afford to fix it, and its an icon of the park you do. I mean the accident last month is clear proof that they don't have the money to fix it.

I can't believe there is actually a whole thread on this again...
Can you imagine Magnum at MiA? It would look so... out of place...

Isn't there a shirt somewhere that states "Magnum is sinking?" ;)

The Magnum rumor has been beaten to death for so long, confirmed as false, re-confirmed as false, and asked about here in countless closed threads, that the "Bill Gates will send you $243 for each e-mail you forward" story is more believable. This has been around long enough that I think asking for confirmation that 2+2=4 would be a better question at this point.
