Is Friday’s in Breakers done?

I know pretty much all of them have closed down. Is this one still open? Online it says temporary closed.

It’s still open, spent quite a bit of time there this weekend!!

I wouldn't feel too bad if this closed down, provided they had a replacement ready for the next season.

Back where I live, the Fridays building was recently torn down, with a Bubba's 33 being built there. Bubba's 33 is owned by Texas Roadhouse.

I went to a Bubba's 33 a couple times when I lived in Albuquerque. And I would be happy to see that come to Breakers if we lose Friday's.

Unofficial Rule of Ride Removals

You must announce removals in advance so people can get their last rides in, unless a major incident or malfunction prevents the ride from doing so.

This applies to roller coasters, flat rides, water rides, and so on.

Exceptions to this rule include upcharge attractions, waterpark rides, and rides that are effectively redundant within a park.

I am definitely ready to see Friday’s and Perkins gone from Hotel Breakers.

In a perfect world, I’d love to see an extension of Sandusky Bay Pancake House come to the Perkins location, with the owners having complete control of ordering and quality control. Maybe reduce the menu a bit, but keep their popular items.

I would also like to see a beach or nautical themed restaurant replace Friday’s. Maybe replace some of the windows with garage doors so customers can easily walk up from the boardwalk and order without having the come inside.

There is so much CP can do to increase the destination vibe, but they keep coming up a bit short. For example, a walk up window for GP so guests on the beach can order food or drinks on that area of the beach instead of having to walk all the way down to Sand Bar or Surf Lounge.

Breakers continues to have high occupancy and sell out on quite a few dates every season so there is absolutely no incentive for them to increase the destination vibe. I agree with much of your assessment but until they hurt monetarily nothing will change. however, we like Perkins for breakfast. We go there perhaps 5 times a season and have never had any major issues, waits during the busy time excluded.

Had to edit this again, I put we went to Perkins at breakers 15 times a season vs 4 or 5. We all like It but it ain’t that good lol!!

I feel like the beach side of Grand Pavilion looks like it was constructed to have the possibility for an entrance and/or window on that side.

I have thought not having a bar/quick serve food window on the beach side open an hour or two past park close has been a missed opportunity since it opened.
