Hey guys I was just wondering if I should get fast lane next time I go because now I have to pay extra money just to ride TTD and GK. I love those rides but there are 4 people in my family and it would be $60 extra for the fast lane plus. Is it worth the money?
Blue train you are clear and out of here and enjoy your ride on Millennium Force
My feeling is that if you're going to cough up $200 for access, you might as well cough up the $260. Either amount is kind of more than I personally want to spend. I'd rather take PTO and go on a May weekday, but everyone has different schedules and circumstances.

That's really a question that only you can answer, for two reasons.
1. You are the only one who can quantify the value of your time. For some, $260 might be chump change, and for others, it's a lot of money.
2. FLP has not been around long enough for there to be a lot of data on it's value as it pertains to those two rides. Certainly, FL was there last year for TTD but now with it's more-exclusive FLP status maybe the FL line will be shorter?
Depends. How much do you and your family want to ride TTD and GK? Do you want to ride them multiple times? How many other rides do you want to have on other rides during your visit? Are you only going to the park one time this season? Going on a likely busy day (such as a Saturday in the middle of summer)? Would there be value for you in having assurance that you can ride both rides (multiple times if you want) before your visit (so that even if it isn't truly necessary on the particular day you visit there still was the benefit of the assurance)?
I have never used FL at Cedar Point. I go enough during the year and get there enough days when crowds are light that I am not concerned about avoiding lines. I did use FL at Kings Island last summer. It was our only visit during the year and it was a Saturday in July. Was totally worth it.
I will also be going out to SFMM for a day as part of a longer trip to California. I have never been there and likely will not be back any time soon. Not sure if Flash Pass will be required but to me its worth getting it as something of an insurance policy.
If I was going to Cedar Point only once a year, or with guests that could only come once or twice during the season, there is zero doubt it would be worth it.
The only reason this never touches our radar screen is due to having season passes. The frequency with which we visit has changed the way we approach our visits in general...from feeling the need to open and close the park while squeezing in every ride possible to just feeling relaxed about nearly every aspect of the park.
The bottom line? If you want to truly enjoy all of what CP has to offer and have limited time?
Absolutely worth it.
