Is the indoor game "Fasination" (spelling) still there? Its an indoor game where you roll little balls up a ramp trying to get a line of lights lit up, sort of like bingo. If you get a line, you get tickets and can redeem them for various prizes. It was right up front by all of the games and was a hell of a place to go and cool off on a hot day. It's been awhile since my wife and I were at CP and she loves that game so were trying to get info and see how the park has changed since we were there last. I'm still disapointed that the aquarium was removed.
Sadly it's been gone for quite a long time. I think it was removed in the late 90's, but I could be mistaken. Only a couple Fascination parlors are left in the US. I believe Indiana Beach still has theirs, or at least they did when I visited two years ago.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you

2000 was the last year for Fascination.

There is an app in the iTunes store for Fascination. It is a fun game.
Thanks, I'll have to check it out! Its been awhile since we were there, I use to get a season pass when I was in my teens but thats been YEARS ago now and since the kids are grown and out of the house we haven't really thought about going, but 2013 we are definatly heading to the point!
Thanks for the info people, I appreciate it!
It's true, a lot that you remember is now gone, but I think you will be pleasantly surprised at what has emerged since you last set foot on my favorite little strip of the Earth.
Whenever you go, promise to make a trip report. Some of my favorite memories over the past few years have been visiting Cedar Point with people who have either never been there, or who have not been there in quite some time. There will be a lot of "hey where did that go?" moments, but there will be plenty of "where the hell did that come from?" moments to make up for those. :)
Hope you two have a blast!

I'm sure were going to be suprised at whats there now and at whats gone. I'll post a trip report, we're trying to figure out which hotel to go to now. With her limited mobility and all of the walking I will have to do, we'll probably only stay till around 8pm unless we have a hotel room to go back to, then I can see us staying until close.

Is there anyone who is still boycotting Johnny Rockets? :)
I am proud to say I've never walked inside those horrible white fences outside the building.
I thought Fascination was replaced by Johnny Rockets in 2002.

Got a chance to play it and I must say, that app mentioned above is pretty nifty.
I haven't figured out yet if you play other people online or if you just play against the computer, but it is fun either way.
