Is Erie dead?

I have been around for long enough to remember the soap suds and dead fish that used to wash up on shore.

The beach at CP is rather pretty at sunset and perhaps it is safe to wade in. I would love an E-Coli reading on the beach area as Cleveland and the entire shoreline of Ohio did not hold Erie in as high a regard as the average homeowner would his front yard.

The govt/industry initiatives that are 4 decades old have made amazing strides and the lake is rather pleasant at this point in time.

I sincerely hope that the "Mistake on the lake" does not start piping its raw sewage 5 miles off shore and not tell any one. Cities are notorious for this; reference/Santa Rosa Island Authority for all the doo-doo they have released into
Santa Rosa Sound and legitimized it!

It is a crying shame that parts of Erie cannot be sold to private concerns so that they may take care of their area like a responsible homeowner would his/her backyard.

This post is relevant as we all want a wonderful backdrop to CP!

Can you find something else to talk about? You post the same thing in every thread, and I hate to be the one to break this to you, but you're not clever or funny.
