Is Coke coming back?

Does anyone here know if Coke is coming back? I wsnt to know because I want my Sprite at CP!
ok, not sure about if cokes coming back or not, but why does cedar point have to be loyal to one or the other and not have both,i mean for $2 a bottle, they have to make a pile of cash no matter what brand they have there, and id bet alot of people agree that a choice would be almost a big improvement as a new ride would be
It's logistics....

FOr Pepsi Co. to provide thier products at such a low price bulk price to CF, CF must sign a contract saying that Pepsi Co. has exclusive distribution rights. Happens at every ballpark/zoo/amusement park/school in the country.

You'd be surprised what some of these contracts say. I have had to deal with them in the past. It takes ALOT for another vendor to come in once someone has an established contract with a company.

Local example, Pepsi Co. had the contract at the Toledo Zoo from the 70's untill just recent. Reason they lost it?? Local Pepsi Co. people dropped the ball and Coke came in with a better offer because of a loophole int he contract.

I'll be a while... Coke's contract probably expired and Pepsi Co. made a better one. Who knows how many years they may be locked in.

Looking for me?? Check The Red Garter...
From what we have heard, Coke will probably be in the park-hopefully not, but What will happen to Snake River Falls? It's sponsered by Pepsi.
It seems that pepsi is a good fit for Cedar Point. Pepsi is advertised for the young thrill seeking crowd and so is Cedar Point.
This has been set for a while now, it will be Pepsi for a long time.

This has already been discussed here many times. I wouldn't be suprized if this gets closed.
No offense, but Pepsi, Coke, who cares? I think we need a 2001 announcement already.
Pepsi did grant money to CP for signing a contract. They helped pay for Snake River Falls!

I was there in August and at TGI fridays or waiter said that the contract for pepsi expires in 2 years. looks like you will have to wait for that sprite a little longer!

The waiter got the info from the train operator, who heard it from the lemon chill guy. Remember he knows everything!! HA! HA! *** This post was edited by CoasterBunny on 9/13/2000. ***
Today I ate at the TGI-Fridays located next to the Cedar Point Drive as you enter the park. I found it odd how on the menu it said they had pepsi products, and on a friend of mine's menu it had coke products. When the waitress came I asked which they had and she said coke. I found that kinda odd. I know TGI-Fridays is a Coke chain, so why the misprint? Did the want to serve Pepsi just because of the contract with the rest of the park and couldn't and the menu is a misprint or something?
Hmmmm..... this must mean Coke is coming back next year, right?
