I'm just wondering how early you need to get in line to reserve a spot on iron Dragon with the new virtual reality. I know on the website it says they start taking reservations at noon but I'm assuming the line by then is long, really want to be able to do this
I took advantage of this before the park announced it was happening. I showed up like 15 min before the time they took reservations and I got the first group of 4. But now, I have no idea how early you would need to wait.
SV ruins all other rides.
Cedar Point's website is surprisingly full of answers to Cedar Point related questions.

Promoter of fog.
I have already read this, I'm asking for anyone that has experienced it how long the wait is for reservations.
I did it today. Signed up at noon with some what of a wait. I wanted to get an early slot; which I did. The thing is, they were still taking reservations at 5:45 when it was my time. Throughout out the afternoon, the sign up line was a lot shorter than at noon. So it seems that if you don't mind a later slot, you can sign up at a later time with a shorter wait. This is just my observation based on my experience today. Could change tomorrow.
Thanks so much for your reply, this is exactly what I was looking for. I actually don't mind a later time slot, so maybe we will try after the noon rush.
A little bit disappointed about the age limit being 13, my 10 my year old was crushed when told no. I understand somewhat but if an adult is present they should allow the youngsters to check it out.
Well that sucks, I agree if they are with an adult it shouldn't be an issue. I honestly don't know if it will be something I like, I'm not into the simulation rides at universal but I'm assuming this is different so I want to at least try it.
Could the VR not fit properly on a younger child's head? The 13 and up rule seems odd especially if a child's with a parent, and Iron Dragon seems popular with families with younger guests.
I think it's more of a liability thing than anything. If little Johnny gets very sick and ends up having to leave, the parents could possibly become overprotective, and attempt to sue for child endangerment or something stupid like that.
CP Top 5: 1) Steel Vengeance 2) Maverick 3) Magnum 4) Raptor 5) Millennium
The headset fits just fine on all my kids right down to the 6 year old. I have one of the same model they use at home all the time.
I tried this last night and thought it was really good. I think the VR added a nice touch to a rather tame ride. I think this ride was the perfect one to do it. I wouldn't do it on MF or Maverick.

I tried the VR yesterday. My friend and I were the first two riders of the night. While there are still bugs to be worked out I thought it enhanced the ride experience overall.

I think the age requirement is so stupid I as a 17 year old can physically get in the car and drive myself to the park but be told I can't ride because I need a parent to sign which is exactly what just happened to me about 15 minutes ago I'm so pissed I got there 30 minutes early and it took them 15 minutes to set up the table then got turned away I wasted almost an hour for this stupid thing
Did you tell them your name is Magnum-MAN?
It is a little ridiculous, maybe 14 or even 16 would be a better cut off. Sounds like, for now at least, they're taking no chances.
At least you're only 17 and you've got plenty of hours left...
Seventeen-year-olds are still minors. Contracts such as the waiver CP is requiring would not be binding.
Going to sign up for this today, stopped at TGIFridays and picked up two hand sanitizer wipes to bring with us. The wipes at Friday's are really nice and cloth like material and bigger than the famous daves wipes.

Was the age increased? The CP blog says that you have to be 13 years old.
Apparently even if you are over 13 you have to have a parent sign if you are under 18
