Are you sure they backed it into the station instead of pulling it up the lift and letting it complete the course? Backing it down by somehow disabling the anti-rollbacks does not make a lot of sense.

IMHO that sounds like they've ordered a new chain.
Intamin must have made that chain.

I'd agree that it has to be an Intamin chain as if it were a B&M Iron Dragon would have a 54" height requirement.
