Well, the whole point of ID was to just have a normal coaster underneath the track (we all new that) then the inverted came and that was supposed to be an improvement to the suspended trains. If you put inverted trains on ID, you just be making it an inverted suspended, when the coaster is supposed to be just a suspended. I mean what are they going to come up with next, flying suspended trains.
I feel that I could compare this to putting a standup train on magnum, just wouldn't be right. So putting inverted trains on ID would be going against the purpose and idea of ID
I would love an update on ID. New trains, color, anything. I like the idea of having all new trains, with the same suspended train idea, but with lap bars and maybe a open front, but lets keep the original idea.

The inverter was never meant to be an improvement over the suspended train. They offer two different experiences. The inverter was all about controlled and rapid rolls with your feet dangling. The suspended was all about the swinging motion.

Well, I am sorry about my "mistakes" but I guess the inverter wasn't supposed to be an improvement, but without the suspened, the inverter probably would've been late a few years, though I may be wrong, because they were built by 2 different companies, Arrow and B&M

So is this just a rumor, or are these seats being added?

Cedar Point is the best. I will never stop loving it. You gotta, You wanna, You have to hold on...Cedar point hold on!! :) :) :)

-As always these statements should be considered false until confirmed by another Guide to the Point member.
...if Cedar Point added these to the ID, they would be tied for most inverted coasters at one park (if you count DD at IOA as one) with my home park, the always interesting SFGAm... (Deja Vu, Batman, and V2)
I don't know why ID never had lap bars in the first place, but I wouldn't change anything now... Installing lap bars probably won't be worth the cost, as no one would come from afar with the thought "Dammit, I gotta ride Iron Dragon with lap bars!" (Feel free to quote me on that one... )

The Vekoma "feet dangling suspended" cars (I don't want to call them "inverted" because that implies a non-swinging car that can take inversions) are VERY different animals than the inverted cars on their SLCs or Invertigos. They look quite comfortable, actually -- hopefully I'll find out in July.
As for retrofitting lapbars on ID (and BBW, Top Gun, etc.) Morgan has shown the way with Phantom's Revenge :)

Oh, believe me, I absolutely love the PR trains. I rode it plenty of times last year :)
Another "lap bar" solution can be seen on Setpoint's "Swing Thing" -- that even gets you the more open floorless design.
