Iron Dragon Crash?

With rumors about Top Gun at PKI crashing, someone mentioned that it reminded them of a crash that happened on Iron Dragon. Does anyone know if there was ever a crash on Iron Dragon, and if so, what happened?

I thought I remeber somthing about one of the trains running into a tree after a storm, no people were riding.

Iron Dragon, as I recall, did strike a tree branch during a morning test run once, causing some damage to the lead car.

Does anyone know what Cedar Point did in order to fix the car?

Wow I was right about one thing. I don't remember where I found this out because back then I wasn't really into CP to much.

They didn't fix the tub. It was used as a prop for Halloweekends up until last year.

They didn't fix the tub; they built a new one or had a new one built, and filled the new tub with the mechanial bits from the wrecked one. :)
