Does anyone happen to know why Iron Dragon has been down the past two days? Just wondering if you folks heard something that I didn't.

I rode it twice yesterday and didn't see it down at all, so I'm not sure what you're talking about.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Iron Dragon was just running 2 trains all day yesterday. I didn't pay too close attention, though, so I could be wrong. The line was semi-long (they were using a few rows of queues) for most of the day Saturday. ------------------ 2003 Stats - Visits: 2 TTD:2 MF:3 Mag:3 WT:2 MS:5 Raptor:2 Mantis:0 Gemini:6 DT:1 CCMR:2 CS:1 ID:1 WC:1 BS:1
I waited about 15 minutes to ride Iron Dragon on Friday...I don't think it was down at any point that day as far as I know.

I was at the Point yesterday (saturday) and the Iron Dragon was down until about 1:00. They had been testing and it kept getting stuck on the lifts. It was up and running with all 3 trains at about 1:30.

When I was there last year it would get about halfway up the lift, then almost stall, then it would kick in again. It felt like we would be doing a lift exit. What more do you want from '87. It probably wore out more since then. ------------------ Due To Budget Cuts, The Light At The End Of The Tunnel Has Been Turned Off. MilleNNium is spelled with two n's people!
TJohnson - It always does that. The first lift will slow until the second train clears the second lift. The lifts act as the ride's block brakes.
